Odie is a special bun. You are unlikely to find another just like him.
His litter skills are used as tools of negotiation when needed. If you lock him up, he will poop on your floor.
He absolutely loves cuddles. He HATES cats. He loves to dig. He hates being contained in any manner.
He has a quirky personality and is honestly leaning towards having neurological deficits.
We have tested him for EC, and run bloodwork and fecal tests. All of them came back negative.
We believe he will be best in a home with a large space and someone who can drown him with attention and keep an eye on him.
Everyone who has spent time with him has noticed how absolutely chill he is. Sometimes he is almost too calm! He is a really good boy, but because he was a stray, we have no backstory or history on him from before we got him.
If you have rabbit experience, are willing to give him space and a dig box, do not have a cat, and want someone to Netflix and Chill with, Odie is your guy!!!

Meet Gimly — a strikingly handsome, jet-black bunny with those big, expressive ears that give him a wonderfully alert and clever look. This gentle giant is still on the shy and cautious side, especially around new people, but don't let that fool you: he's already showing real promise!
He arrived at the rescue quite young and hasn't had tons of human interaction during his time here, but in his medical foster home while recovering from neuter surgery, he's been opening up faster than expected. Little by little, he's learning that humans can mean safety, treats, and soft pets rather than uncertainty.
Gimly has that thoughtful, observant personality — the kind that watches everything with quiet intelligence before deciding to trust. Once he feels secure, we suspect he'll bloom into a sweet, affectionate companion who loves lounging nearby and eventually accepting (and maybe even seeking out) gentle attention.
He's a beautiful boy inside and out, with a glossy dark coat and those signature tall ears that make him look extra distinguished. Ideal home would be a calm, patient environment with someone experienced (or very committed) to helping a shy rabbit come out of his shell at his own pace. A quiet household with predictable routines would suit him best, and he'd do well as a single bun or with a very laid-back bonded partner once he's more settled.

Born as part of an unexpected litter, Thing 1 has grown up in a busy household with tween kids and is comfortable with normal everyday activity and noise.
He absolutely loves his free roam time! Whether he’s running around, exploring his surroundings, or checking out something new, this little explorer likes to stay busy.
But don’t let his adventurous side fool you. Thing 1 enjoys attention and loves being petted, especially when he can approach you on his own terms. He even enjoys being greeted in the morning and told goodnight before bed. ❤️
While he appreciates affection, being picked up isn’t really his thing. He’ll tolerate it briefly, but he’d much rather interact with you with all four paws on the ground.
A few more things to know about Thing 1:
He has clean litter box habits.
He’s a bit of a picky eater who prefers to graze throughout the day. He isn’t particularly interested in treats and will sometimes leave his food sitting, choosing to come back to it when he’s ready.
He doesn’t mind having his loose fur gently removed during grooming. (Which is so satisfying)
So far, he hasn’t done well with other rabbits. Any potential introductions would need to be approached carefully.

This boy has it all. Good looks, good manners and a heart of gold. Justin will great you every morning by taking a treat ever so gently from your hand and then leaning in for some head scratches. Justin came to RARR from a hording situation and is SO excited to finally have his own space in his foster home. He is thankful for every toy, treat and veggie that comes his way. In fact, Justin is so thankful that he chins everything, claiming it for his own. His favorite is the foraging box where he finds new treasures daily. He can't wait to see what new adventures await him once his forever family finds him and brings him home. His only requests are that his new family have lots of love to give and no dogs. Vanellope has also been around a small dog and a cat. She was a little wary at first, but did okay with them. As always, any introductions to other animals should be slow and carefully supervised.
This girl doesn’t need someone to expect her to be brave right away. She needs someone who will give her the time and space to feel secure, celebrate her little victories, and love her for exactly who she is. 💗

🐰 Meet Skippy: The Little Bunny Who Wants to Trust Again 🖤
Some rabbits are born into loving homes. Skippy wasn’t.
At some point in his life, the humans who were supposed to care for him put him outside and left him to survive on his own. What followed was a life filled with fear, uncertainty, and heartbreak.
While trying to survive outdoors, Skippy lived alongside other abandoned rabbits. Together they searched for safety, food, and shelter. But even then, they weren’t safe. Humans shot at them. Skippy witnessed one of his closest bunny friends being struck by an arrow. Tragically, his friend didn’t survive.
No rabbit should ever have to experience that.
It’s impossible to know exactly what went through Skippy’s mind during those terrifying days, but the effects remain with him today. He desperately wants affection and companionship, yet he’s afraid of what human hands might bring. You can see the conflict in him every day.
When you reach toward him, he may become vocal or protective of his space. And honestly, who could blame him? For the first time in his life, he finally has a place that feels safe. A place that’s his.
But here’s the beautiful part of Skippy’s story.
The moment he’s gently picked up and held, his little body melts into a perfect bunny loaf. The tension fades. His eyes soften. For a few precious moments, he allows himself to enjoy being loved.
It’s as if his heart is saying, “I want this so badly… I’m just scared.”

Lady Kluck is shy, gentle bunny who was rescued from an extremely abusive situation. She has endured a lot of hardship and loss in her life, and deserves to see the best of what the world has to offer from now on.
She is still learning to trust humans and is skittish with people. She takes time to come out of her shell- but it is amazing to see patience rewarded with her gentle interest! Once she feels safe, Lady Kluck enjoys greens and tasty treats and will take them from your hand. When she's happy, she does the biggest zoomies and binkies! Say hello to Benji and Shower, aka the Pirate Twins! Benji and Shower are brother and sister from the same litter hence the "twins" but they also each have a unique feature, they are both missing an eye, hence the "pirate". It may sound sad but they are both very healthy, happy buns and doing very well without their eyes. Benji had his left eye removed and Shower has had her right eye removed. Between the two of them they have one good pair of eyes!
Their missing eyes does not affect their ability to thrive and they live their lives like any other bun and they both have a full life ahead of them! They were born into the rescue, so they have been rescue buns their whole life. They are patiently waiting for their new home. We hope that the right person will come along and will not care that they are different. They will be such a loving and wonderful addition to the right family! Dodge’s story is one of resilience, courage, and second chances.
Dodge was one of 14 bunnies involved in a serious car accident. When he arrived at rescue, he had suffered a broken sternum and a fractured hip. It was a long road to recovery, but Dodge faced every challenge with quiet determination.
Today, we’re happy to say that Dodge is doing well and ready to find a forever home of his own!
Dodge is a shy boy who prefers to take things at his own pace. While he may be a little reserved when meeting new people, once he learns that you’re a friend, he enjoys gentle pets and the comfort of a caring companion. Watching him slowly come out of his shell is one of the most rewarding experiences.
One important thing to know about Dodge: He can be a bit of a sensitive guy. When he’s in his home base, he feels safe and comfortable, but when he’s away from that familiar space, he can startle very easily. A sudden noise or unexpected movement can scare him, and he may panic and look for somewhere to hide.

Ingram is a sweet, smart, and occasionally mischievous bunny. He is brave and generally unbothered, and he shows interest in kids and seems like he would enjoy a house with some kiddos to love him. He loves to be pet and will tuck his whole face into your lap if you get on the floor with him. He prefers not to be picked up. He has a sensitivity to Timothy hay. He will need a low dust hay like Orchard Hay.
Ingram loves time out of his pen, but he does need some supervision and/or very good bunny proofing. He likes to find cozy spots to lay, but if you can’t find him, don’t worry: he can hear the fridge being opened from a room away and will always come to investigate! You can use greens and the occasional treat to bond with him, and he even knows a few tricks.

I’m Sarah.
No, I’m not wild. My coat is called agouti — the color a lot of people walk right past. I’m not flashy. I’m the kind of rabbit you almost miss until you actually look at me. Then my personality does the rest.
I love people. Being near humans is my favorite thing. At the rescue they put my enclosure right by the door on purpose. When the director comes in after a hard day, I’m the first face she sees. I pop up on my hind legs like a little periscope and wait. People smile. That’s the job I gave myself.
My foster after my spay said I’m photogenic. I don’t know what that word means, but he says my pictures always look “candid.” I think it has something to do with my ears and the way I sit like a lady. He took a lot of them.
If I could pick a home, it would feel like the house where I recovered. Big people who brought me salad — real salad, all different greens in the same bowl. Smaller people who told me I was beautiful, let me hop onto their backs when they were lying on the floor, and didn’t mind when I jumped on the couch with them. They were gentle. I loved their pets. There was also Benny. I’m pretty sure he was a dog. He was fine with me. I even used him as a launch pad off the couch once. Nice guy.
I arrived at Rabbit Angels in April 2026. They said I was very young. I’m still growing. They take good care of me here, but I want a place where I can follow someone from room to room, make them smile, and then get pets. The rescue people say I’ve never really had anything of my own.

I was left outside. Cold. Alone.
Then something attacked me.
I had bite wounds, bot flies, couldn’t walk, and I was skin and bones.
I collapsed on a sidewalk in the pouring rain.
Not dramatic enough? I couldn’t even flop properly.
But a RARR volunteer found me just in time.
That was the start of my second life.
No one thought I’d make it.
Spoiler alert: I did.
Because I’m Benny. And I don’t quit.
Now, one of my back legs is a little “lazy,” and sometimes my poop has a mind of its own and doesn’t always make it into the litter box.
(It’s about 50/50. We try our best.)
I also sometimes get sludge in my urine, so I take urinary support medication that helps. I do need monitoring, though. If I don’t drink enough or my urine looks thick, I may need subcutaneous fluids, typically about once a week.
Oh—and I throw toys like a pro baseball pitcher.
I grunt.
I boop.
I’m loud.
I’m bossy.
I’m also very, very handsome.
I don’t like being picked up, and I think most other rabbits are kind of weird…
But hey, if you’re a little weird too, maybe we could join forces and be really weird together.

She was surrendered to Animal Control along with three other rabbits after living in difficult conditions. Say hello to Benji and Shower, aka the Pirate Twins! Benji and Shower are brother and sister from the same litter hence the "twins" but they also each have a unique feature, they are both missing an eye, hence the "pirate". It may sound sad but they are both very healthy, happy buns and doing very well without their eyes. Benji had his left eye removed and Shower has had her right eye removed. Between the two of them they have one good pair of eyes!
Their missing eyes does not affect their ability to thrive and they live their lives like any other bun and they both have a full life ahead of them! They were born into the rescue, so they have been rescue buns their whole life. They are patiently waiting for their new home. We hope that the right person will come along and will not care that they are different. They will be such a loving and wonderful addition to the right family! When I picked her up, I knew she needed help, so I took her straight to the ER vet.
She had bot fly larvae under both eyes, and both areas were badly infected. She could barely see, and she was understandably uncomfortable. The larvae were removed, and with antibiotics and pain medication, she began to heal. ❤️
But Newaygo wasn’t quite done with her medical journey. We later discovered another bot fly larvae in her abdomen. Unfortunately, that wound just wasn’t healing. So…back to the vet we went! 😳 And wouldn’t you know it—there was ANOTHER larvae hiding in the exact same hole! 🤦♀️
Once that was finally removed, Newaygo made an amazing turnaround. She has healed beautifully and is now ready to put all of that behind her and start the next chapter of her life. 🥰
Because of everything she has been through—including lots of treatments, medications, and handling—Newaygo can be a little shy at first. But once she feels comfortable, her personality really shines through!
She is an energetic, friendly little lady who is ready for someone to show her that life can be about so much more than vet visits. 💗 She deserves a loving forever home where she can relax, feel safe, and just be a bunny.

Advanced Rabbit Experience Necessary
Muffin takes pride in her ability to teach people self control. Beauty is to be enjoyed with your eyes, a feeling in your soul… just like a masterpiece in an art gallery, touching her is not part of the experience.
She is entertaining. She loves puzzles and toys. Providing her with said enrichment also gives you the opportunity to know what a matador feels like, when a bull charges at him with the intent to do great harm.
When it comes to grooming, attempting to trim her nails alone is akin to brushing a shark’s teeth. It may be possible, but anyone with any sense of self preservation knows better than to try.
Brushing her??? You are going to have better luck braiding the hair on a giraffe.
Muffin is not, and never will be, ok or normal. I have accepted her for who she is, and honestly, my heart breaks for her. I don’t believe that animals are just mean like this from birth. Something happened to her. And it had to be really bad.
Please note, she is aggressive to all living things. Cats, dogs, kids, adults, other rabbits… she CANNOT be in a cage. A large pen is an absolute necessity. She has had full medical examinations, spent 7 months on Prozac, and I have also tried punishing her for bad behavior. It doesn’t work. It makes her worse. Muffin wants to watch you. She wants to know you are there, but don’t mess with her. Give her things to do, and leave her alone!!

Turnip is a sweet bunny hiding in a rough shell. She was often picked on by her brothers and sisters. She's become a bit skeptical of others, and will try to protect herself if she feels she is in danger. This shows up as squirming and kicking while being held, and occasional biting. However, if she gets to know you as a safe person she is much better. She enjoys pets and love from her safe people. She much prefers to be on the ground; she will protest when being picked up, and needs to be held securely. Turnip needs someone who is willing to be patient and loving, giving her time to get to know and trust you. Then you will see her sweet, loving side. For this reason she would be better suited for an experienced bunny owner. Someone who can teach her that the world is not as scary as she thinks.

Hawk is a little brown Lionhead bunny with a mane so fluffy it looks like he stuck his paw in an electrical socket and decided to keep the hairstyle. He is still just a baby, which means he has two main hobbies: being adorable and acting suspicious of literally everything. A leaf moves? Suspicious. A human breathes? Very suspicious. The food bowl appears? Probably a trap… but he’ll investigate anyway.
Deep down, Hawk is a sweet little cuddle-bug. He loves gentle pets, especially when he finally decides that your hand is not a giant sky monster. Because he is so little, he is still working on trusting humans, and every tiny moment of bravery is a big deal for him. One soft pet, one calm voice, and one extra treat at a time, Hawk is learning that love can be safe.

We are both quite the cuddle bugs, after our tiny adventures you'll often find us cuddled up together observing the world. When taken outside for roam time, I like to jump right out of the carrier to find my spot in the grass immediately. My sister takes some time to gain her courage, but is usually not too far behind. Tony is a curious, active bunny who was returned to the rescue a few years after being previously adopted. From what we understand, he spent most of that time in a cage, and he's loving his new life as a house rabbit. Tony is very well litter trained and has had no accidents outside of his litter box. He's tidy and keeps his hay in his box. Tony is a handsome boy - all black with a tiny white speck of fur on his nose - and his fur is incredibly soft and silky. He is also quite affectionate and frequently seeks out his foster mom for pets in the mornings and evenings. He will likely form strong bonds with his adoptive family.
Tony likes to play. He absolutely adores his stacking cups and can't wait to knock them over and play with them every time his foster mom stacks them up for him. He also loves to dig at his blankets and chew cardboard boxes and chew sticks. (He also likes to chew shoes, so keep those in the closet!) He will likely enjoy a dig box or supervised outdoor time. After just a few weeks, he became quite comfortable with his foster family's dog and could be a good fit for an adopter that has a calm, predictable dog if they are able to take their time introducing the dog to Tony. He does not like being picked up, but he tolerates it, and he loves pets and snuggles on the floor with people he knows and trusts.
Tony is both sweet and spicy. He starts tooth purring almost immediately when being pet, and doesn't want it to stop! Initially he would nip his foster mom when she stopped petting him because he wanted more. He's doing that less now that he's getting daily affection and interaction with his foster family. Recently Tony learned to get on his foster mom's bed to ask for affection. He was very proud of himself the first time he got on the bed, and kept jumping off to zoom around the room, then back on the bed for some pets, then on the floor for binkies. He's a very affectionate rabbit and demands pets every morning and evening, but he will need some time to settle into his new home and feel safe enough to let his sweet nature emerge.
Tony loves to free roam and has zoomies and binkies every day. It's great to see him so happy. When he’s tired, Tony will lie down with his legs stretched out, find a quiet spot under the couch or bed to sleep, or sit by a sliding glass door so he can see outside. Tony can be a little bossy and would be best suited for someone who has experience with rabbits and will let Tony take his time to get comfortable, but once that trust is there, he will be a great companion. He's growing sweeter by the day with his foster family and regularly seeks them out for affection.

Mr. Herbert is a happy guy and loves to binky. He is in love with food/treats and anyone who gives them to him. His favorite is dandelion leaves, and small treats in stacking cups. For chewing, apple sticks are his go to. Mr. Herbert loves listening to music, or someone singing or reading. Although he doesn't like being picked up, he does love being near his person and getting pets. Mr. Herbert is often at my feet while I'm working at my desk, and sits next to me when I'm on the floor with him. Most of the day Mr. Herbert enjoys finding and enjoying the perfect sleeping spot. He has always done well with his litter but as he has gotten older he is leaving more and more "gifts" as I call them which are easily picked up. He continues to be perfect at urinating in his litter box though! Mr. Herbert is not a fan of being groomed but he has never nipped at me (foraging mat helps!). He does very well with my 4yo granddaughter petting and giving him treats and isn't phased by loud noises. He has been a lone bunny all his life and has not been around other animals.
